My journey with Herbal Empress Nee has always been about understanding energy, healing, and our interconnectedness with the world. This shoe design, "The Dualities," is a direct reflection of these core beliefs.

At the heart of the design is the iconic Yin and Yang symbol. For me, this isn't just a pretty symbol; it's a profound representation of the fundamental duality that exists in everything:

• Light and Shadow: Not just day and night, but the known and unknown, joy and sorrow, the conscious and subconscious.

• Balance in Nature: The push and pull of tides, growth and decay, the stillness of winter and the vibrancy of summer.

• Human Experience: Our strengths and weaknesses, our triumphs and challenges, the quiet moments and the bursts of passion.

• The Universe: Expansion and contraction, creation and destruction.

The Yin and Yang reminds us that these seemingly opposing forces are not in conflict, but are complementary, interconnected, and interdependent.
